The payload and towing ability is pretty impressive for a car based truck.... Isn't that more than the SRT Grand Cherokee!?!

wrong, it's just as good as a car, better at being a car than some cars..

and its as good as a truck as most people use their trucks for.. and better as a truck, considering it's fuel economy

.

all those are things that the great majority (i'm not going to pretend to know a number) of people who buy trucks or SUVs never use... most people that buy them never go offroad so they don't need the extra ground clearance or 4wd.. and most dont tow 10000lbs or wahtever a full size pickup can tow.. .. 3500 is enough to tow a car for petes sake.. maybe not with a trailer too .. but its more than enough for the majority of people who use trucks i would think

Better at being a car than most cars? Not if you need to have more than 1 other person in it. Ground clearance and 4 wheel drive are handy when it snows as well.

I don't want more than one other person in my car.

I already have a 2500HD Silverado, this will be for hauling ***.

Infinitely more interesting than some boring sedan, I'll leave that to all the lemmings.

Beautiful, RWD, V8 powered, what's not to love?

What is this the new line of Pontiac, The G8 sedan, G8 sport truck, G8 ice cream van, maybe a G8 bus, or trolly too.

I'm amazed there are people that like this vehicle.
That whole soccer mum "I'm safe in a big truck with heaps of ground clearance" bores me to tears.

I'd prefer to be able to park and drive it like a car, not driving a truck that pretty much handles like a truck.

As for the stats on its towing/hauling ability of the big pickup trucks I did say "for there size".

Anyway different strokes....
