Hard to imagine how the curvy Solstice lines would work with the rest of the car when they can only change from the A-pillar forward. Seems like a waste of effort and change just for the sake of change. Just put a (replaceable) twin-kidney grille on it and call it a day.

Maybe they mean the kidneys will be "below the belt" rather than above.

Anything to get away from the mid-90s Grand Am look is fine with me.

There may need to be some photoshopping involved here. I will try to turn out something to express the idea in a little bit.

From the sounds of it, I don't like the idea, but I will have to see it first. Afterall, the Chicago auto show is right around the corner.

I could live with that. If they keep the LS2/M6 price in the low $30s (or lower) I can live with a lot.

I think I would wait until Chicago before I jumped to tooo many conclusions . Given its intent and its very short life cycle , I just cant see them spending the money on a Pontiac spec front clip . Bumpers yes ....hood , fenders , headlights ect ect like that article hints too I would have alot of trouble believing .

Why does it have to be a short life cycle? Im really hoping they leave the front alone.
