why is it weird? I would assume that the quality rankings are based on number of problems incurred per car. Considering the g6 is in its 6th model year with no major changes, I'd hope they have it down by now!

hey buddy... the dealership I boguht my g6 from seems to get a steady supply of Mazda 6 ex rentals... (I was looking at Mazda 6s, 4 at one lot, checked it out, found out all ex rentals, checked out G6 and other vehicles at other lots ended up with a G6)

Wierd even this weekend when I got an oil change there were 2 more ex rental Mazda 6s.

Don't worry, I have seen G6s as driver ed cars, can't get any lower then that.

While it is low, being a drivers ed car isn't a bad thing. You could get people into the car, and if they like it, are comfortable with it etc, parents might buy one.

But, it is pretty darn low.

I recently bought an '06 G6 GTP Sedan with 14k on the clock. Its really pretty nice, the leather seats are bolstered real well, with nice accents on them and on other interior pieces. "GTP" is also embroidered on all of the seats. I've got remote start, satellite radio, leather steering wheel with radio controls all for 14k.

the car is smooth, quiet, gets decent gas mileage and is very very comfortable. im not surprised by this at all to be honest. my only complaint is that the dash is made of a hard plastic material and wish it was a little nicer, but the fit and finish is perfect.
