I forgot that this one is being built here, with that in mind they really should change it. Aveo sounds Korean.

I think waiting until 2013 or 2014 to update the corvette is a bad move. The current design will be what, almost 10 years old by then?

I think the next gen Corvette will be more of the same but more tuned than ever before. I am not worried about GM putting something in the Corvette that it doesn't belong.

Aveo is not a Korean word or name.

In Korea the car is called the Kalos.

Aveo (like Camaro) is a basterization of a word from another language.

While Camaro is a deviation from French meaning "Good Buddy", Aveo is a variation from a language called Lydian (Turkish-Greek) roughly meaning "Greetings" or "Hail".

Wouldn't be the 1st (or 2nd, or 3rd) time Corvette has gone quite a while without a new design.

Yes, but as I remember the sales aren't all that great lately either. Do you really want to get the exact same thing the guy down the street bought 6, 8 or 10 years ago?

I agree, but didn't the Corvette get moved up to coming out in 2012 as a 2013 model? It would be nice if the new model was out for the 60th anniversary.

I think he may mean the current one. If so, then I agree 100%. The Tahoe/Avalanche /Suburban front end is so much better and more upscale looking than the Silverado front end - IMHO.

Times two! I love the current Tahoe nose, but the Silverado looks like

! (I actually think the Sierra is better looking for the first time in a long time.) I've actually contemplated picking up a used Silverado and swapping on a Tahoe front end.
