Which future Camaro would you buy?

I wonder how many would want......
.........a cutting edge styled, high tech, light weight, powerful (read 325hp+) but in a V6 (w or w/o turbo), IRS, RWD, 2+2 Camaro
IOW, a more modern, redefined Camaro......might not look like one or sound like one, but will out perform the 4th gen in every way.

BTW....I would hope they would call a car like this something else though......

I like the car you describe above...but with a V8.

high HP V6 all the way
Actually, I like what Doug described. I think that a high HP V6 should be in the next camaro (disclaimer, sigh: should there be produced one).
I am falling in love with Nissan, specifically their 350Z and Infiniti coupe. I think those are the best packaged cars out there, a bit pricey, but they don't cost more than SS did.
And those cars are very much refined, attention is paid to detail - completely opposite our fbodies, RIP.
Mind you, my vote went for Z/28.

Of course if we are talking Z/28....there is a very focused and defined formula for that car, and that includes a V8.
But why should the base V6 be nothing more than a prime mover? It doesn't even necessarily need to be exotic or complex. What's wrong with a pushrod V6 that is specially tuned for Camaro?
Does it really cost that much more for a free-er flowing exhaust, revised engine management, higher performance air intake.
It would sure add to image of the base car.

most fbody's see dragstrips more than roadcourses
so the liveaxle should be standard on all cars, and IRS should only be an option for the ILE package or sumthing
i, personally , would rather have a base model Z28 with around 350 (GM advertised, so its much more ) hp/350tq and a slapstick for about the same price now ( $23k ).
and make a "COPO" like camaro
that looks like a V6, with no badges, stripped of options, and cheap rims, but with the top of the line V8, heavy duty automatic and a 12bolt
ahhh i can keep dreaming, eh?

This is definitely a ver pleasing poll. It's just a shame we are teasing ourselves.

One thing though, I always thought that if there ever were a Z06 style Z/28, it would need to be a limited specialty car. But according to this poll, it would be the high volume leader.
Just like Guion said.......this is CamaroZ28.com..........
