Futura to be called the Ford Falcon

...Futura is expected to be called Falcon (Fairlane has an outside shot) and the Mercury sedan Milan after Monarch and Meteor were ruled out.
But Ford won't confirm the names and said it wants to wait to do so...

I guess i'm comfortable with both names.
Falcon does sound better than futura. And milan is a ton times better than Monarch and meteor (such stupid names)

Speaking of the falcon, will we ever see a mid sized v8 sedan/coupe from Ford?
