I see a couple of SVT Focus references (not sure that's quite the word to use) in there.

That can't be bad (IMO). Audi's look pretty nice to me. I'm starting to favor them quite a bit over BMW in the looks department.

I see S40 coming right through the skin. Add the concept headlights, and bam.. next gen Focus. I see tons of S40 sheetmetal. Dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing. I see zero Audi in this...but that 500 has a lot of Passat in it. That roof line came right off the VW sedan. The Ford cars are looking very basic. Why not go with yet another retro design?

You and me both. Wait, aren't the hottest selling cars bland??? Oh the travesty! Actually, since Focus is one of the best selling cars in the world, this look would be very good for it (IMO).

I think that this is just a sign of how Ford's design staff is totally lacking in creativity. The Mustang is a home run, but the mainstream passenger cars are getting duller and duller and....

I guess the clowns at FOMOCO think that putting Audi TT-style airvents in the F-150 (and just about everything else) makes their products "European."lol:

Like pointed out it's the dull cars that sell. Taurus, Camary & Accords are the best selling cars in the US. The best selling "creative" car is probally Impala. Yawn.

The Chrysler 300, though not dull, is selling like hotcakes IMO because it's an expensive car selling at a firesale price. If Cadillac sold $23,000 V6 CTSs, they'd probally sell like crazy too.

Fords looking like Audi

Not surprising that Ford design has the Audi influence. Didn't Jay Mays come to Ford from Audi?
