I agree. I WANT them to make an OHV v8 after seeing what the LsX family of v8's have been able to accomplish as far as effeciency, physical weight/size, power, etc... is concerned, but Ford hasn't made an OHV v8 in like a decade and i doubt they'll be starting anytime soon.

We might see a Sohc with 3valve heads and VVT or a Dohc with VVT but no OHV. I personally think they'll most likely go the 3valve Sohc route.

I love it when the ricers say that. They were making cars with DOHC engines before World War I.

I'm not sure. You will hear leaks long before an official release. AFAIK, this will not be a launch powertrain.

They need it.

Ford Lincoln and Mercury need to find something to put those in. The lineup is so stagnant.
