Ford Reflex & Mazda Kabura

I was reading Motor Trend, don't worry guys I didn't pay for it my boss gets it but doesn't look at it, when I noticed a similarity between the Refl3x, which they featured, and the Mazda Kabura, which I saw on here. AH-HA has been indicating on his site, accordingtoahha.com, that Ford has been planning 3 different b-segment vehicles for some time, Sinus being a preview of the first and the Refl3x being another. The visual similarity is similar between these cars is pretty striking. Now I know the Refl3x is a diesel hybrid showcase and is FWD and the Kabura is RWD but I still think there are connections between the two.

So my question is this: do you feel these two could be in reality based on the same platform once within production? And would you consider a Refl3x styled vehicle with an I4, sport tuned suspension, 3 seat capacity for around $16,000?

eye candy

Re: Ford Reflex & Mazda Kabura

both look to be based off the same platform..... good point

Maybe they are pre-production versions with conceptual styling. Sort of like how the 05 Mustang GT show cars were production based but looked different, but maybe more extreme here.

Be interesting to see if something comes out with those dimensions soon.

FOr me to consider the Ford, it'd need 1. power 2. manual trans 3. RWD or AWD 4. a functional rear seat and 5. a LOW MSRP.
