I thought Mitsu had one too?

Old news guy. Todays focus is one of the best small cars out there.

Haven't been tracking the Focus lately... but I'd still be inclined to be a little gun-shy.
Re: Ford to match GM employee pricing..
Of course the Charger is excluded since there was never a 2005 Charger in the 1st place. I THINK all SRT Vehicles are excluded (300 SRT-8 'only like 275 05's anyways' Neon SRT-4, Crossfire SRT-6, Viper SRT-10) and the 300C's are excluded as well!!!

Compared to Cobalt, you get an extra 40,000 miles and no extra time (Cobalt's powertrain is 5 years also, not 6)
(I do give credit to Ford for the powertrain warranty, though)

Excellent dealer, excellent reputation. SVT certified, also carries Steeda, Saleen, Roush, and they do their own Ciener Edition on many models.
They have been doing this for at least 15 years... maybe more.

The 2002 Focus had 1 recall that covered 267 SVT Focus's only. That was the last recall.
Why the Focus over the Cobalt??? Well, if you want a car that is fun to drive, but don't want a Cobalt SS.......... you don't have much to pick from. The Focus, in all trims, is still the standard by which small cars are measured (when talking about driving dynamics). I do believe the new Mazda 3 probably has better driving dynamics, but it is significantly higher priced.

Back to the Kia and Hyundai warranty issue for a moment...
Even I assumed that the 10yr/100,000 mile thing was bumper to bumper... at least that's the way it comes across...
Since I have no interest in either brand, I've never looke dit up, but this is from Car COnnection (talking about the new Buick warranty, but mentions Kia and Hyundai)
So.... Even the "warranty kings" of Kia and Hyudai do not offer 10 year / 100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper coverage...

The current Buick warranty, three years or 36,000 miles, corresponds to the coverage on Chevrolet, Saturn, Pontiac, and GMC brands in the GM family. Re: Ford to match GM employee pricing..
Does anyone know if the GM employee discount is THE bottom line price? Chrysler is offerering rebates on top of the employee discount, and I was wondering if GM also includes any rebates on the employee price, or if the employee discount is the price you will pay, with the rebates already factored in.
