Looks great imo, like an Aston. Also looks very european and makes me think it's for the EU market.

Yeah, looks like a European concept showcasing styling queues likely for the next Mondeo.

Very nice looking though. I wish Ford US was more like Ford UK.

You can say that again. They get a Focus over there I might actually care about, and great looking cars like the Iosis. Even the Aussies get the badass Falcons, with the great engines that go with them.

That thing is beautiful but like everything else cool Ford makes it's gonna be for overseas consumption only.
Put me in charge of Ford for one month. Let me get all the COOL stuff over here and watch the profits climb.

Re: Ford Iosis?

It is interesting to observe that whenever a new concept/car pic is posted, people start posting what the car looks similar to.

So far we have

G35
Jaguar
Aston Martin
Mazda
Opel

It's because everybody rips off from everybody else now.

For example just today in traffic I saw a G6 coupe and an Accord coupe. If not for the badges and a few differences you'd think they were the same car at a quick glance.

If you took a glance, an Accord would look like a Mercedes. Biggest ripoff I've seen in awhile.

Re: Ford Iosis?

if it looks like anything, it's the new Jag XK8. which would make sense since Ford (i'd guess), most likely used the XK chassis to graft this "Ford" skin on it. remember the Jaguar S-Type and Lincoln LS?

Well in a car market that has so many things that DO look a like you have to do something a little different. That's why the plain jane work a day cars from the 60s if you see one out on the street that's clean and well kept...it looks like a work of art compared to half the stuff out now.

Re: Ford Iosis?

Intresting car.

Least no one can say it's "typical Ford retro".

Re: Ford Iosis?

For once I wish a maufacturer would keep the interior of it's production cars identical to it's concept car. That interior would be awsome
