Ford Expedition...What happened?

It hit me today that i see GMT-900 SUV's all the time..several a day. But I almost never see the newer Expedition around. Did Ford stop pushing them, or is the redesign lackluster. I see a ton of the older Expeditions around still?

They just don't stand out from the old ones like the GMT900 Tahoe/Suburban does.

My work has an agreement with Ford so in effect, we have alot of Expeditions and Expedition EL's.

I personally feel the GM is a more posh vehicle, I think it has a nicer interior/ fit finish. Even the headrests in the rear seats are un-comfortable in the expedition- They fold forward for storage but when up- they leave an open spot in the seat back I find the front seats acceptable in comfort level.

I think the GMT 900 is just a much better truck, they cost more then the Expedition, but I think it is worth it. The Lincoln Navigator and "L" dont hold a match to the Escalade. Especially when still paired to the 5.4L

I have a 08 Avalanche and its awsome. GM did a GREAT job with the 900s. When my wife and I were shopping for a new car it can down to Tahoe or Avalanche.
