Ford B-segment sub-brand

AH-HA shortly before he was outted had remarked a couple of times that Ford had been working or at least had Mazda working on a sub-brand of B-segment vehicles. I remember there talk of a Bronco/Synus like mini SUV and a super compact coupe, likely styled after the Reflex concept. Does anyone have any updates on this or any sources to find out what was being planned?
