I like the HHR. Somehow I missed it at the autoshow so my opinion is based on the pictures I have seen and the one I saw on the road.

I wouldn't mind having a supercharged HHR SS 5 speed for 20k.

Ive seen quite a few new Impalas on the road lately and literally A TON of HHR's! They are selling like crazy in Orlando seemingly and the funny part is, alot of the drivers have been young, mainly people my age in their 20's. Over in Daytona, there was a SOM HHR on the beach with surfboards strapped to the roof. Gotta say the car looked right at home fit the image perfectly.

I gotta say I didnt like the looks of the HHR at all in pictures. In fact I slammed it on a thread about a year or so ago when sketches of it first came out. But after seeing many of them, I actually like the car. Weird how the times change, eh?

The "wood" looks good on the LS, but I think a sporty SS needs some brushed or spun metal trim.(personal opinion)
Saw the infamous GM emblem, really kinda small and unintrusive, okay...and easily removed if wanted.
The headlights looked better with the 'Ol slightly smoked covers, but I think the new ones would look cool if the covers were kept clear and the bezels were smoked....just me.
The one I saw was Silver, probably would look much better in some other color...seeing the new impy in an old color somehow takes away from its impact...
More curves and angles, some style finally, and I think much better and more full sized looking than before...
All in all a BIG
there is a black one in my complex-looks good and i've seen a black SSas well and it looks mean.

I'm not sure what all the thick spoke hate is about... Those Impala rims look exactly right for the car. I don't hate the skinnies messesarily, but I do not prefer them at all. Even on the Corvette I prefer the '97 wheels to the featureless "me-too!!" skinnies on the 2000+. oh well...

And I really, really agree about the Impala SS wheels.

We've agreed on 99.99% of everything. One little disagreement, and you act surprised that we agree on something?

Just curious...
Actually drove the Impy, and rode in the HHR. Didn't check out the cup holders, though.

The Impy seemed fine as far as visibility goes. At the stoplights, we were a few cars back and we had the pole lights, so I really didn't notice.

Noting that I get 13mpg city and 15.6mpg hwy with my 94 Bravada, dont ever really tow anything with it, and never totally max out the cargo room, it rides like an SUV and doesnt have that much fun factor, acceleration, and the like....

A supercharged HHR SS 5 spd (or even 6spd! woot!) would be awesome.

I'm going to head to the local Chevy dealer this week on Thursday and spend like an hour with the thing, give it a full top-to-bottom.
