Re: Fiat now owns Chrysler....still no Fiat sign seen on Chrysler headquarters.
Wow, so, uh, I guess I'll try to get in here before the lock...way to take it political, guys
Anyway, without getting into all the "Liberal/Conservative" BS that can stick with MSNBC and Fox Noise, those of you that whine about the government doing what it did, let me ask you this....
1) The government will lose about $11B total from Chrysler and GM. With all the money we throw around today, for all the direct and indirect jobs it saved between dealers, suppliers, and the OEMs themselves, what the HELL was wrong with that???
2) How many more industries should we hand to other nations before we stand up, have some pride, and say "enough is enough"????
Anyone that has any amount of intelligence should be able to look at the jobs saved, look at the returning health and profitability of the two companies, and let it go already. Seriously. The other option, of letting them fail, and likely taking Ford with it...was it really an option?
Would we be sitting here now saying "well, gee, that was a GREAT idea"....
