Everyones most respected rival
Everyones most respected rival
Just thought it could be fun if we could get a survey of what everyones most respected adversary is when it comes to imports. Back it up with reasons also.
Mine would have to be Mazda. They havent gotten totally swept up in the SUV thing and they are putting out some really intereting vehicles like the RX-8. I even hear theyre thinking about putting out another RX-7.

Agreed. I've only raced two, and won both times. But each time was a race. Not like all the other imports i've raced. But of these came down to the line.
Among the expensive models - mkIV Supra TT. Second place Nissan 300ZX TT. Although Nissan has better looks, Supra has a great reputation for performance.
Among the newcomers and currently built, I give preference to G35.
Let us also remember non-Japanese performance models... Anything S or RS by Audi gets excellent performance (at extraordinary prices, too!)

3000GT Vr-4's. These cars never got the recognition and respect like the other *** sport cars. It had AWD, 3.0L TT, electronic shocks, 4 wheel steering, 4 piston calibers, chrome 18's, Active aerodynamic with front and rear electronic spoilers that adjust with speed, computer/adjustable exhaust, 13.7 second and 105mph traps in the 1/4 miles stock, 6-speed, power retractable hardtop for the spyder versions, and the list of features go on. This from a model that's over 10 years old
. This car was very advanced for its time and the performance #'s are very respectable. 12's is only BPU mod away.

Hmmm...
I think the new breed is the most respectable. I love TT 300Zxs and Supras, but to me, the ones to watch are the new WRX STis and Evos. Those cars are going to be more common, and with AWD and bolt ons, can eat the casual F body owner

Mk IV Supra TT. I love the interiors on these, plus performance capabilities are throught the roof.
R34 Skyline GTR. THe styling is simply amazing IMO, has one of the most advanced AWD systems in the world, built in G meter, brake/gas pedal pressure meter, (and much more) which can be downloaded onto your computer just for the sake of downloading to your computer. Plus the performance
