They did a review in the new issue of Car And Driver and they seem to prefer the Solstice which really surprised me.

They liked the ride better, saying it felt more planted and stable. They critisized the top for not being able to put down from the driver's seat.

It's also slower but the car IS 400 lbs heavier than the smaller Miata.

 

Here's another (sort of) head-to-head comparo...the author tested the Solstice for the Detroit Free Press a week ago, and says he preferred the Solstice's suspension. LOTS of varying opinions about these two.
