Dyno charts?

Do you guys think it would be appealing for GM to put dyno charts along side the window sticker for their high performance model cars/trucks?

No. Dyno's vary, and that opens up the floodgates for "my car made 10 HP less than what GM said - waaaaaaa!"

Agreed...Plus 99% of buyers won't understand the numbers anyway. Just give 'em peak HP and tq and leave the rest up to the internet

Re: Dyno charts?

There's no point to that.. The only people that actually care would go out get a dyno anyway..

Better idea...

All of the Chevrolet performance cars get a plate (much like those found on C3's) that has the dynochart, peak numbers, displacement, transmission type and final drive engraved into it.

Attach the plate right to the center console in plain view.

Maybe not the dyno chart, transmission type, or final drive, but people LOVE seeing the 435HP plate on the '69.

It would wake some people up. And maybe help weed out some retarded salespeople.
