Doing my part to keep GM in business
Doing my part to keep GM in business
Picked up a daily driver today .... the end of a journey that started last July. Positive impressions so far. I can't really compare it as a truck because the last full-size truck I owned was a 1970 CST/10.
I'll give a users report after I've pounded a few miles on.

Basic info: LT 4x4, Z60 suspension, 5.3 engine, locking diff, 4.10 gears, 20" wheels with 275/55 tires, 1SB convenience package (remote start, steering wheel controls, enhanced DIC), tailgate package and HD trailering package.

I'm sure your business is appreciated.

I just drove a 2500 HD with the Duramax/Allison combo yesterday. It was an extended cab, long bed, 4x4. It is awesome.
These GMT900s are really nice trucks.
Wow, that regular cab/short bed has a lot of potential...I think they'll be really popular again, kinda reminds me of the rc/sb C10's. Recently, they didn't look so good in that configuration....but I'm diggin' yours!
I'm thinking that would be a great starting point for a 'SS' Silverado. Imagine that tuck slightly lowered, different wheels, and a LS7 engine... That would make some SRT-10 buyers think twice before running to Dodge for a truck.

Me too. Funny thing is this is what I get for ordering a GMT800 back in August.

Nice purchase. I'm trying to talk my wife into selling the fleet and trading up to a new Silverado, Malibu (08) and Camaro (09). I absolutely fell in love with the GMT900s at the SF Autoshow.
So far its not working.
