Get yourself a used Caddy ETC, they can be had for pretty cheap. The interior fit and finish usually isn't that great in the ETC, but the 300hp Northstar is a sweet pkg. They sound awesome and make good torque too. The aftermarket is starting to pick up for the Northstar V8, I've seen cat-back exhaust systems that give the Northstar an extra 20 hp, or so they say/advertise. I bet the stock intake is probably pretty restritive too, so you could slap on a CAI for starters.

The engine is gaining populuaraity with hot-rodders too, I've seen numerous little hot rods with Northstars in then setup for rear-wheel drive over the last few years.

Just imagine the Northstar with supercharger, in the right car. Can we say Cobra killer.

That is pretty much what I would love to do.I want to build a stroker/bored northstar. Then put it into a light stylish car body and attack the blue camp on there own turf.

There was a guy who swapped a northstar into his V6 Camaro, I don't know what happened to him.

You should see how much room the Ford Aus DOHC 5.4 takes up..

Ford had to give the hood a bulge just to fit in!

Give me a OHV anyday
