Dodge Razor

Anyone here interested in a RWD car with the SRT-4's motor for $15K?

Well, I can't say that it's pretty, but somehow it strikes me as very cool.

If there's one thing the world needs, it's a cheap* modable RWD car. The SRT4 Motor in a RWD 2-door car based loosely off of the Neon would be awsome.

*By cheap, I mean $15-20K not $30K+.

I agree that a $15,000 4cyl RWD coupe would be a great idea.

Considering that its hard to find a nice looking nicely equipped 4 cyl. FWD for $15,000 makes the probability of a special niche RWD vehicle being that cheap very unlikely.

I would guess if the Razor ever made it into production is would be closer to $18,000+ but that not so bad either.

Those turbo Neon engines are not very reliable and there are more and more stories of entire engines having to be replaced like this - http://srtforums.com/forums/showthre...?threadid=9289

VW will bring a similar car to market around 2005/6.a RWD possible mid-engined roadster that weighs under 2000 pounds,no power steering,no power anything,no BS,150HP,all for about 20K bucks, and they better sell it here,if not,i'm moving to europe because they get all the cool cars and all we get are trucks, damn trucks.freakin trucks, grrrr.

Farther down the thread he posted what was wrong with the engine. Even though Chrysler told him it was the result of improper break-in, they are still replacing the whole engine for him, and he's pretty happy about it (and planning to replace his Astro van with a Hemi Durango). If my sister got that type of response & service from Ford dealers (yes plural) regarding her Mustang, she'd probally be saving up her pennies for the next one instead of driving a Camaro .

But back to the SRT, I'm sure his daughter putting 87 octane in a turbo that strongly reccomends no less than 91, and possibly flooring it didn't help the engine at all either.
