Well.... I guess we can safely say which type of racing Dodge will use to market the Challenger.

But at least with the Ford GT500, you don't have to change out the rear suspension to handle the power without hopping itself to pieces.

I'm sure the SRT versions will handle and brake at least as well as the SRT Chargers, which is pretty damn well, even if they choose to market it with a drag racing emphasis.

This is all hype. Would it be any better if a "Camaro Super Stock Concept" had a ZZ572/720R, big tires, and a live axle? Production is not likely to be a thing like that concept (as far as drive train is concerned).

At least they got rid of that ugly red, white, and blue paint job, but you are right, it still looks straight out of the 70s.

It's possible that they'll offer the rearend via the Mopar Parts catalog (the motor is already available).

I was thinking the same thing. It almost looks identical to a 1970 Challenger.
