Doc Brown's Mr. Fusion

Well, not really... but still interesting.

I wonder when (or if) alternate fuels will become a mainstay and replace fossil fuels.

Pretty cool stuff!

Here's some info on Fuel Cells from one of my favorite sites:

God I hope so. I think it'd be great to drive a 400hp renewable fueled Z28 in front of oil company 'X's corporate HQ and give them the ol' flaming bird.

A boy can dream can't he?

From the 'wild f-----g ideas file', what does it take to convert an engine to run on E85. The 5.3 in the trucks have that option and there's been a very small part of me that's wanted to see if I could convert my Ls1 to E85.

This of course would be after I apply the racing stripes and do the 1LE converstion for autocrossing

I think that's gonna be the biggest emotional challenge when high perf cars hit the market (fuel cell variety). Although I'll probably be able to over look that when I consider I'm getting full hp and torque at full throttle (or it's equivilent) regardless of vehicle speed, i.e., engine power isn't related to engine speed.

I saw a mod for the ultimate ricer the other day. A simulated blow-off valve sound! Now you can sound like you have a turbo even if you don't have one!

Hmmm....Maybe they'll come out with a simulated V8 exhaust sound!

But it's not all that bad. Electric Motors = Instant Torque and constant Torque throughout the rpm range.
