Detailed pictures of the GTO

These came from Tony Whatley over at LS1Tech.com from the Houston Auto Show. Alot of good close ups. Thanks to NikiVee over at LS1.com for posting them there. Figured I'd post them here.

As you will see in these pictures, the GTO has a complete dual exhaust system complete with headers, 50/50 weight distribution (none of which applied to our Z28s), drilled pedals, and more.

Also, Here's a complete picture of Monaro's's underside...including the exhaust system:

While I'm surfing the net (at LS1 at the moment) I'll post a thread from a guy who actually owns a Monaro down in Victoria (that's a state).

He has some observations that are dead on based on my limited time behind the wheel of one last summer.

This car looks great. Doesn't look like something that should have a Pontiac symbol on the front of it, though. I hope this turns Pontiac around. Now we need a Chevelle, too.

I got a few pictures of the engine too, but I only had a cheap throw-away camera. Houston's auto show is really shaping up lately, and by next time I'll have me a neat digital camera. Then I'll get you guys some coverage.
