CTS-V/PLUS
There's not really an entire lineup of V cars, only the CTSv thus far. I dont think Cadillac would do anything right now if they feel it would hurt their image, or make a half-assed effort if they do make it.
I know Caddy has announced there will be an XLRV and an STSV, and I think maybe they did mention an EsceladeV, but I too think that truck is too big to be a performance vehicle. The Sy-Tys were alot smaller than a full size SUV.
Caddy's general manager (forget his name) said specifically on Autoline Detroit that the trucks will not be part of the V series. He said they may/will have special editions, but they will not be called V series. He made a point to say that V was saved for strictly performance cars.

a V12 is just what the Escalade needs to get back on top of the "famous people must have" car list. The Escalade is what made Caddy cool in the first place.

A 550HP V12 Escalade would be a performance vechle. If Cadillac can make the fastest best handling fullsize SUV on the market, than it deserves the V badge.
