Crossfire hitting dealer lots
Crossfire hitting dealer lots
The dealer group I work for just got in its first Crossfire. Its an interesting car-albiet underpowered at 215 hp for a flagship model. Its about the same size as a fiero gt, also very roomy inside. Interior is nicely done with metal around shifter. Cost 35k!!! Has 18 inch wheels in front and 19 in back. Would be hard pressed to fit a set of golf clubs in back since the storage area is an oval. With this car and the nissan z coming to market recently, maybe GM will pay more attention to the lower priced 2 seat market.
I wouldn't exactly call it underpowered (we aren't talking Corvettes or $40,000 Thunderbirds). Looking at it, it doesn't seem like it should be a pavement scorcher, and according to what I've read, it's reasonably quick.
The Crossfire is cool to look at (it was at the LA auto show this year), but it's not quite on my list of cars to buy next.
