the pic and info had been around for a while. I'm not a huge fan of the fenders, but the hood is cool.

I think the hood is pretty cool. What kind of supercharger is planned for this car, a centrifugal style? Judging by the hood, it would look pretty impossible to wedge a roots blower on top of the engine.

The factory seems to like Roots style blowers for their simplicity.....I could see one fitting under than bulge in the hood....remember, big part of it just replaces the intake runners, I can understand the wedge in the hood from the standpoint of keeping the car stable at high speeds...

I like it personally, it just makes sense

It is also a very streetable blower that has lots of power under the curve. Whomever buys these cars better be prepared to spend a mint on tires.

Wouldn't BMW get a little angry if GM used Z07?

Z06.R is the only name choice that makes sense to me. Derived from the C6.R, it reflects the modern day Le Mans race engineering heritage that would be utilized in the production car.

Z07 would take what was once a randomly derived RPO code (Z06) and make its upgraded model sequential.

I'm sure anyone who can afford a $100,000 car isn't worried about dropping $1,500/year on tires.

Most exotic owners dont seem to have much problem with tire wear since they sit in garages all the time.

Yeah... i wouldn't think they would use Z07. We will just have to see what GM decides to call this Corvette.
