Corvette front and rear facias spotted.

I was looking in the new "Vette" magazine and there are a few spy shots of the front and rear facias of a Corvette outside of the Corvette plant. The person who took the photos says that they are most likely for the new C6. They look like an evolution of the C5 and don't look radically different. The front end is much more pointy, like the C3's and the rear has a curved back like the 91' and up C4's. In the front facia, there are spots cut out for the head lights but are they for pop-ups or fixed head lights? Anyway, I hope this has not been posted before.

These are NOT C6 parts. They are C5 molds for the fornt and rear facia... you can see pics and discussion over at www.corvetteforum.com .

They are, without a doubt, C5 parts...

Well, i thought they looked too similar to C5 parts but thay don't look the same. So you are saying that they are just production c5 parts? Damn those bastards if they got my hopes up.

I believe someone on Corvette Forum stated they are molds or something like that...

The only difference I could see is the 3rd brake like looks to wrap ove rthe top of the fascia, and the notches on the front fascia... but these are normal, from what is said.

Regardless... I highly doubt that they'd leave C6 parts laying out back in plain view.

I think Corvette Forum is changing their bullitin board, so they are up and down today it looks like... some good reading in the thread though.
