Maybe they've decided the "Def-Ear" way of product design and deliverance isnt the best way to conduct business
but the main demographic for a new camaro won't be the hard-core enthusiast...

It's actually his third post. One in April 2005 and one in July 2005, but they were in the Lounge, and that doesn't count.

Still a lot of lurking.

Corvette SS!

How will the Blue Devil differentiate itself from the Z06, besides a bulge in the hood (thats a given) The Z06 already has all of the scoops, ducts and flares.

Well I think if BD wants to be the BEST performance car out there they have a few options. A mostly carbon fiber body is pretty certain. I think the entire body will be differentiated from the C6, whereas the Z06 was a C6 with fender flares and a bigger CHMSL. I think the whole car wil be wider. Anyone know if AWD is possible? Will the wheel base be longer to put the heavier motor, B/c of the super charger and associated plumbing, further back? There are LOTS of things they could do. Heck it could even have the new Chevy face with a split grill like the new Tahoe and Uplander! (j/k guys I pray that doesn't happen.) But there are lots of options when you add another 30+ thousand dollars to the price. I also wonder if these will be built at the Vette plant. It is running full time just keeping up with C6, XLR, and Z06 orders with Z06s coming down the like like 1 out of every 5.

I was saying it in a tone that it wont happen..

I think we've already proven the F-body cant stay alive souly on hardcore enthusiasts or we would be seeing them on lots now wouldnt we?
