Colored headlight area in 5th Gen??
Since the 1st Gen to the LT1 4th Gen's, Camaros have had some way of blacking out their headlight area or pockets. 1st Gens had the RS option. The 2nd, Third, and half of the 4th Gen had blacked out headlight pockets on top models/Z28's. IMO they are great looking and distinctive, and the LS1's would have benefitted from them also. To me a 5th Gen should have them again definetly. What do you guys think??

I think the factory blacked out headlights on my Mustang look great.

Nope. Hate that black treatment. IMO it's just a leftover 70's styling cue. I specifically ordered mine with the body colored roof and headlight pockets. *shrug* FWIW I'm not a fan of the blacked out hood scoop area on the 35th either.

I think it depends on the car itself...
I like the way the black pockets looked on all the Camaros that had them, but to be honest, if the blacked out around the LS1 headlights, it would have looked out of place and just plain bad...
So, it's hard to say without seeing what the front end looks like before hand.

I never liked the two tone black roof on the 4th gen either.

To me the top model cars just don't look right without it. Gives that Lamborghini look. Yeah the LS1 front headlights and pockets are wierd shaped but IMO in that picture with them painted it looks better. Some1 else around here with a new Z28 or SS did the same thing. Anytime you can accent a car with some black, especially a red car, it just looks great.
I have to say I never liked black roofs though.

I thought everybody liked the black top though. Oh well. I love it.
