WHats the deal with the door on the side of the bed? Is this production or future product?

Those doors were in the pre-production model. Maybe they will become reality now.

I would think it would be more useful if they figured out how to make the entire bedsides fold down, similar to a MB Unimog. But that little door could be handy too.

The Nissan Titan has something just like that, except it near the rear of the bed.

thats more of a seperate storage area, instead of a door into the truck bead.
