cool vid. I hope Ford isn't releasing the Cobra with that scoop like that, it really doesn't look right from any angle.

 

Funny, up until a month ago all I was hearing was that Fords next mustang SVT release would called somthing other then Cobra. There was even speculation that the reason was Shelby wanted to call his tuner version Cobra. Now it seems that everyone is saying SVT + Cobra again. I am curious to know the back story on this.......

 

Looked like any ordinary 05 GT w/ a mach 1 style hood to me, If that was a cobra wouldnt it be covered up a little better

 

If I remember right, there was a pic of a cobra mule posted here in the last couple weeks that had a similar hood and GT badging.

 

The operative word is mule...As in powertrain and chassis mule. Not as in final bodywork pre-production model.

 

That mule has been running around Michigan since at least August. Nobody that knew anything called it a Cobra though. Now EVERYBODY seems to be doing so.
