Definetely too short of a engine compartment to fit a V8 in there.

Also, if it actually would be a model for the 5th Gen, it would need quite a lot of refinement to make it appealing to at least myself...

http://members.aol.com/speedbbb/cama...aymaybeBIG.jpg It looks like a Cadillac afterall. I didn't think of enlarging it until someone mentioned it on here. I'm relieved it isn't the Camaro now, I really don't like this box-mobile Cadillac idea. I was afraid it was being implemented into Chevy design too.

compare the B pillar of the 3rd and 4th page renderings...
not saying thes conclusive at all, but kinda odd. That is not a very common styling cue to have the windows that close together at the corner, i dont believe..

It doesn't look ANYTHING NEAR like a Solstice, or any Kappa car for that matter...

To me it just looks like a Cien clay model...

And so was the Mustang concept...

Looks to me like Cadillac Cien. Stubby front nose, fastback with rear decklid and rear end slightly pointed at the middle. Wonder if GM got a volume discount on the black shirts.

Re: Is this a clay model of the next Camaro????

I've seen the Cien in person. I really don't think this is a model of it. In fact, I am so assured, I would say I am 100% positive this isn't a Cien model. The front end on the Cien is sloped and the cabin is much closer to the front of the car. It is mid-engined afterall... this clay model car is obviously front engined or has REALLY weird proportions for a mid-engined car. Here's a pic of the Cien from the side... now everyone... let's just forget about these silly Cien assumptions .

now if you look the car is not a direct shot on....so you will see some of the top and front through the perspective of the shot... maybee not the Cien that is the production but it could be one of the clay models of its propossed design..

Re: Is this a clay model of the next Camaro????

This has virtually nothing in common with the Cien. The Cien does not have such a steep windshield rake, a wide and wildly diverging rear pillar, and a long door to rear bumper space with a rear window between the back edges of the sails, unlike the model above.

If you consider the tail lights in the drawings on the wall, it is highly likely to be a Cadillac. But it is no Cien, and it is also no XLR.

If I were to take a guess, I'd say it's a 'closer' concept version of the V12 production car, with impossibly tight proportions and an engine familiarly packed deep under the dash.

But no Cien.

Odd that it's only half a car in front of a mirror, I thought there was a t-top outline on the roof for a second. I don't think it's anything really just doing what the caption says.
