XIAOSHAN, China -- Delphi's pain could be China's gain.
Lu Guanqiu, the ambitious chairman of Wanxiang Group, says he is negotiating with Delphi Corp. to acquire some of the financially troubled company's assets in the United States.
Wanxiang already owns stakes in six U.S. manufacturing companies that employ about 1,000 people.
Lu is unlike most Chinese suppliers, who are content to stay home and increase their overseas business with exports.

At least a power window switch won't cost $92 anymore.
Demand for the dollar over seas is the only thing keeping the value of the dollar droping harder. Lets hope all these overseas countries that are stock pileing $100 bills (like China) don't dump them all on the market at once some day.

How ironic . Chinese are looking into Delphi . And the 06 HHR , Monte Carlo , Impala and any other model using the new style CD player with the big round button in the middle is made by Fujitsu . Its the first non-delphi radio I think Ive ever seen in a GM car
