Do you really really think that the Chinese are to blame for GM's problems? Really?

I suppose we can console ourselves with the fact that if imitation is indeed the sincerest form of flattery, then GM has fans for its designs. They could have copied anyone in the world and chose GM.

GM isnt doing so good in NA. China has nothing to do with that. GM is actually selling well in China. Even the Buick is selling there.

Let's just send a firestorm of bombs over there and say "no, those aren't nukes. You guys just had a bad storm...U.S. Bombers? No, those were just clouds"

Perhaps killing a bunch of innocents isn't the right approach, but neither is sitting on our asses and letting them exploit all of our research and hard work.

WOW!! AHAHAHA!! That "Disneyland" thing is HILARIOUS! Wow..what a total rip off.
And worst part is...all the stuff they sell AT disney, is probably made IN china, so they just have to double the shippment and send it to this disney world.
The car thing..just wow. What can you do? Is the UN gunna go in there and arrest these people. Are we gunna march troops into China and take out these factories?
Not much you can do.

That is exactly right. If you have a part or object built in China you better expect that it is going to be sold under their own brand to someone else.

Why is it that we broke the backs of the Soviet Union that now has some form of democracy but now we are perfectly willing to finance Communist China? All the while stealing our intelectual property.

Short answer: The Soviet Union refused to build consumer products for multinational corporations.
