When asked about the jingle, newly appointed vice president for sales, service and marketing Susan Docherty told a web chat today she hadn't heard of or seen the little number.
Ok, seeing how the car has no sales or service yet. It must only have marketing which is concentrated on auto shows and yet no higher ups know what goes on at the shows?

I am not gonna say the name of the famous exec at who at GM who was in charge of marketing when this was devised, and also was around in the 60's when something like this would have been cool. I will just say his last name shares the same first and last letters as Lolz.

Now that I think about it...is Settlemire still the manager of Chevy shows/exhibits? Man I hope he had nothing to do with this.

Docherty wasn't even responsible for this but fear not TheGMSource went STRAIGHT to the person that calls the shots -NOW- Susan Docherty:

If it happened on her watch, she is responsible. Also, Anyone who uses the phrase "Game Changer" needs to be punched in the face repeatedly.

Wow... I made it 33 seconds before turning it off. Whatever marketing firm was consulted for that abomination needs to be fired, and issuing a refund to GM.

Yeah, but now I think a lot less of the Volt and I'm more likely to buy a Ford on my next purchase.

Ford got a lot of attention with the Firestone recall and so did Toyota with the floormat thing.
