Lol, Im the same way.

When I first saw sketches of it I spouted off saying it wouldnt sell, they're wasting money, its too late, blah blah blah.

Now that its out, not only do I look like an a$$clown as it continues to sell at a strong pace but I actually like the looks.

Oops

I almost wish I were a carpet sample salesman or handyman or something...so I could have a good excuse to get one.

Lot's of positive comments about the one GM had in Bowling Green. We may seriously consider one to replace the Envoy.

After seeing none a month ago travelling the US from north to south from North Dakota to Texas and back again, we spotted at least 4 driving from Bowling Green to Eau Claire WI today, including 1 that looked lowered already.

I think the HHR will be HUGE for Chevy. Saw a couple of '06 Impalas on the road as well.

Indeed, the grey one at BG was very nice. I love the fact a 2LT, loaded with a stick, moonroof and cloth seats, is under $21K even with a 6 CD, running boards etc. Its a great deal for what it is, and I love the look.

Its so much better than a Vibe for less $$$, it isn't even funny...

Odd as it may sound, I don't think I've seen one driven by someone older than me yet (40-ish). Most around here are driven by surfer types and college kids.

At an opening bid of just $15K (Neon prices!), it shouldn't be surprising.

Not only do I thin it'll crack 60K annually, I'll say it will reach 120K if GM has the production capacity to make them.

Given a choice between a Cobalt sedan & an HHR, both around the same price, it no contest!

Yeah, add good gas mileage. Probably one of the best Small SUV's on the market.

I think the HHR proves that Retro is not bad if done with good taste (unlike the 2005 err 60's) Mustang.

Chevrolet pulled off Retro 100x better then Ford did with the Mustang. Let's hope they can do the same with the Camaro. (All IMO of coarse...)

yeah, the new Mustang is a sales flop from the poor retro styling

Looks like the HHR came at the right time when gas prices are high. I just saw the first one on the road yesterday. I did not think GM could pull this one off as a huge success. Glad to see it selling well!

I haven't seen a single one on the street 'round here yet. 'round here being East Bay, though I do tend to go all over the Bay Area in general. Haven't spotted a one. And I live less than a mile away from a huge Chevy dealer.
