Not me. I would get either an F350 or Silverado Dualie Diesel HD.
MUCH more power than that heavy-a$$ed gas guzzling titan, and LOTS more sexy looks to them.

Yeah, that's nice and all, but I don't need a diesel since I won't be towing anything other than my motorcycle. And the Titan is much cheaper than the trucks you mentioned.

The titan is deffeninlty NOT cheap. It's more than a Chevy 2500, (by quite a bit actually) and for just towing your motorcycle, it's gonna suck gas like a ****. My g/f's mom averages 14mph HI-WAY in the SUMMER TIME. Winter time, 2wd (not even talking 4wd here..) 12mpg or so.

That doesn't change the fact that it is still derogatory, not to mention rude and ignorant. Why push the clearly established boundaries of decency?

There's only a few more letters to be typed to make the meaning the same thing without an ounce of offense. Let's all be a bit more considerate.

Yeah, it was a funny commercial. Especially at the part where they say 'no racing stripes or lime green paint jobs' and then they show a Silverado with lime green flames.

I guess their advertising guys pay about as much attention as the clumps on the assembly line.

I noticed the green paint as well! However, I think they meant "lime green" as in Paul Walker's TF&TF Eclipse green.

Still, they could've shown a different truck; there are tons of Silverados with paint jobs out there.

Sorry, I hear everybody saying it hear all the time as an abbreviation. Different strokes, I guess.
I don't want to offend anybody, though.

Yeah, I knew they were trying to chop at somebody, I just figured they might not want to use the exact color they mentioned a half second earlier.

I think that the lime green and racing stripe insult was aimed at Dodge though. (for offering the 60's era classic Dodge paint schemes on their trucks) To chop at that is lame.

yeah...not to mention the Mercedes Benz's plants in alabama. That new S class was probably built mostly by guys named Bubba, Earl, and Cletus.

If you quoted my entire post or even just the few words before it, it'd be obvious I already knew that

I said that one of the focuses of Kaizen was to reduce waste. Waste as in wasted resources/parts just sitting around not being used until somebody finally needs them. Then I said for example, Toyota was the innovator of 'JIT'.

JIT is a part of the "Kaizen" philosophy. Kaizen is not strictly related to quality control; ie: JIT.

I believe Mercedes only makes the ML Class (and the upcoming GST/R Class) in their facility in Vance, Alabama. The S Class is made in Sindelfingen, Germany.
