Also of note is that GM is re-examining platforms to eliminate redundancy, example GM Europe didn't really like Delta and has been using a revised old Astra platform. Delta might die and the Astra program could be re-engineered and replace Delta. I guess we will find out in a few years.

That being said, there will always be pet projects, kappa being one example.
As far as EPII goes, it is on schedule for GME. There is still a lot of sourcing to be done for GMNA, so it isn't concrete. All indications are that all NG's of epsilon will move to EPII. And it all will make perfect sense why soon enough.

No you won't see that.
On a more positive note, this thread is full of "very wise" people (if I can steal someone's term). There's something like 3 people in a row. 4 if you don't count the same person twice.

BTW: I think Chevy has stock in the name "Impala".... however, if it's made somplace other than Oshawa, it's going to have to have a different name. Same factory mandate that Camaro & Firebird had.
Re: Chevrolet of tomorrow: Back to the '50s
the impala is supposed to evolve into a stretched version of the Epsilon II, the Caprice is supposed to be the BIG RWD car that we are looking for, it should be shown at NAIAS
