It's just a badge-clone of the G8 anyway. I'd rather have the home-grown Zeta Impala... assuming it ends up happening, that is.

South America and Sout Africa both. Also under the Opel/Vauxhall badges in Europe.

I don't know why, but I love the look of the Lumina SS. Let's face it, the Lumina of the early 1990's wasn't a great car, but it was a good car. Sporty looks with the Euro package, some performance with the Z34. Otherwise pretty plain though, and a lot were produced with 4 cylinders, wheel covers, and faux-grain wood interior with bench seats. Definitely not a hotrod...

I'm thankful enthusiasts are getting the G8, but honestly it might be a bit much. I wish Chevy would adopt its arab Lumina cousin and invite him to the US with slightly toned-down features. Good V6 power, and a 6-speed manual option. Leave the V8 for the Pontiac.

In fantasyland, I'd be wishing for a plug-in electric version of the Lumina, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.

This Lumina has as much in common with the early 1990s Lumina as Roseane Barr has with Rosetta Stone.

South American and Arab Versions of Chevrolet are in english as well.

But it's only for the Middle East and South Africa. Like Australia, New Zealand's versions are Holdens. As mentioned, it's Vauxhall in Great Britain & Europe.

Or you could always buy the G8 , put the chevy front bumper cover on ( the rear is the same on the Pontiac) , swap the pontiac logos for the correct Chevy logos and theres your Lumina SS . Ive seen a few GTO's in the US reversed back to Monaro's .

That might be worth doing....the Lumina bumper is FAR better looking than the G8 IMHO.
