Chevrolet Lumina SS Spotted in Fair Haven, Mi yesterday

I was sitting on my buddy's boat while he was filling it with gas and noticed this pull in(I only had my cell phone and it takes crappy pictures.)

The guy pulled into the gas station and took off really quick. The car looks awesome in person, I like it better than the G8.

Here are some pictures gminsidenews posted a while back, same car only black.

Man, GM seems to have quite a few of these in the U.S. right now. Are they serving as a way to preview the dynamics of the G8 or for GM insiders to get a feel for Zeta or something like that?

Here's hoping there will be an SS with the LS3 in it.

That's a car I'd buy (minus the wing)

I don't think we'll be getting that version here. That car, with a modified nose and tail is already coming as the Pontiac G8 for 2008.

I think Chevy is supposed to get the longer wheelbase version (Statesman rather than Commodore), but probably with unique sheetmetal. I don't see Chevy getting a car that's identical to Pontiac's except the nose. I thought that's what GM was trying to get away from...

I'm betting it's more than just the middle east... the badges are in English, aren't they?
