Check out the Mexican version of our Malibu
Before you think its a Opel Vectra or Saturn Aura , look at the whole car . Its a Malibu from the windsheild back .
.....to bland us version after seeing this . This Chevy Vectra would actually look good stacked against its American competition .

The front looks a lot like the Saturn Aura/Opel Vectra. No need to badge-engineer the whole car when you can get away with just doing the front
Re: Check out the Mexican version of our Malibu
Vectra has looked like that (recently got a nose job, I think) for a couple of years already in Europe. I've driven them a few times as my rental and they are pretty nice. Just like the Astra, which has come a long way from the days of an old Kadett.
I think the 2.8L turbo V6 Vectra has two versions having 230hp - 250hp. At least in Europe, that is.

Re: Check out the Mexican version of our Malibu
That isn't just a Malibu with the Opel front end. The doors may be the same, but the front and rear are totally different, as are the the front fenders and rear 1/4 panels. Remember, the Malibu has those rearward-canted swooshes over the wheelwells.
It is clearly on the Malibu sedan wheelbase though (as opposed to the extended wheelbase used by the G6, Malibu Maxx, and Saturn Aura).
Cool car though. I agree that it is sharper looking than the Malibu sold here (though I actually like that car too, particularly in LTZ or SS trim).
