Challenger SRT-10
I like it!
There is an orange SRT-8 nearby, brought from the US by local dealer. He's asking $56K CDN for it. I think he may actually end up losing on the deal, with the economy now making people cautious on their expenditures.
Anyhow, I went there with my wife, and she said "wow, i don't like that car". She doesn't like the colour, the shape, its presence, etc... Then it struck me, it must really be a guys' car. A muscle car with power appeal. Men go for that sort of thing, not women though.
Is there any demographic data on Charger buyers at this point?

I sat in a Challenger a few weeks ago. It definitely reminded me of my 96 impala SS, kind of like a truck, and even a 69 Chevelle that a friend of mine used to drive. It is a car that was definitely designed for men.
well, how about this. it was coming from a guy in Texas who drives a truck everyday, so it was meant to be a compliment. I could definitely see myself driving a Challenger. There aren't too many cars that have the room around you that the Challenger does. I haven't sat in many of the other LX cars or the Camaro yet though.
Haven't driven the Challenger yet, though.
That's the feeling I had driving the 300 and then the Challenger Daytona... it felt like you were driving a small lowered & chopped truck, and you didn't feel comfortable throwing it around. They're more than capable of handling it, it just takes some getting used to.
