caviler SS? Z24??

Does anyone know if and when a performance version of the Caviler is coming out. I don't see why GM is getting smoked in this market. I was looking at the spec for the Dodge SRT-4 and the looked pretty good. this car will be the best performance deal for the money, 0-60 in 5.9 and under $20K. lets not forget Ford, Honda, Nissan, VW, Mazda, Subaru, and Hyundai have already beat GM to the punch. the next thing you know Kia will have a sub $20K pocket rocket before GM.

I bet they could easily put a supercharger on the Ecotech 2.2, have it put out about 210HP, call it the Z24, and sell it for $20K

maybe the '05 car will get a N/A 3.5L I5

I think there is/will soon be one available. I know Grand Am is getting a blower, and I suspect Sunbird (either as a factory or Goodwrench option...with warranty) soon will as well.

Cavalier's going that route, so why not Sunfire.

BTW, has anyone noticed that Sunfire is no longer available as a sedan!!
