I like it. Im surprised G8 isnt on there. Ive always been confused about one thing though. The Mag COTY like motortrend usually has a criteria of new or different. G8 is all new this year, so if it doesnt make it this year, does that mean it doesnt have a chance next year when its no longer all new? Vette and 3 series are awesome car but is it their coolness factors that override the newness rule? dont get me wrong, I still love reading and checking them out, but I take them with a grain of salt.

Regardless... I didn't see any link in that article, or any more detail on what they said about the cars, or what other cars were picked.
This is SOOOO bad.
Heck, FORD is not on EITHER LIST!!!!
I guess they are neither good or bad, they simply vanish after a few uses!
I'm waining on lots of these lists these days - especially since the debacle where Honda and Toyota get good write-ups based on PAST years' performances.
Something like this depends so much on how the car is driven, maintained, cared for, stored, etc. I've seen Mustangs with 50k miles on them that were in such bad shape I refuse to haul it home regardless of price... then I see some with 200-250k miles on them that look/run like new ones. Same cars, same years, same everything... EXCEPT owner.
You are better off doing an All-Data search for TBIs or Recalls, talking to mechanics and shop-owners. You'll find out real fast which cars have a good rep and which ones are crap.

This looks like you were gunning for the thread about Consumer Reports' Best and Worst Used Cars...
