Can Mid-lux be AWD?

Is the Mid-lux platform capable of AWD? I'd consider an Impala SS or Monte SS with a V8 if it had the AWD option.

eh? You mean the W body? I belive that they can and they have already adapted an AWD set up that was seen on the G8 concpet.
Zeta can go AWD
Kappa has a possibility to go AWD
Epsilion can go AWD
Delta can probably go AWD.
I dont see an AWD model of the Impy coming any time soon. Maybe if they change over to Zeta and make a large sedan based off it, yes you will see an AWD, V8, 6spd Impy or at least a good chance of it.

I was looking at the Mercury Montego (I know it's not GM, but take a look). It was very nice and it had AWD. I think it looks better than the 500.

I remember the G8, that was HOT. Since they have already looked into a V8 AWD W-body, any chance the new W-body (mid-lux) cars will get AWD?

It would be nice to see GM compete with the new large Fords and offer AWD.

Only problem with the G8 concept was that it had a 1 gallon gas tank. The tank location needs to be reworked in order to see if the Versatrak System could fit. Could have changed on the Mid-Lux but on the 95-pre change W-body it won't work.
