C7 Corvette

Re: C7 Corvette
I noticed that... but I have a hard time believing they saw a picture of the ZR1. First off, traditionally GM releases the base vette, and later on the performance models (Z06, ZR1, ect.). The ZR1's GM has made were at the end of the model years of the C4 and C6, and the Z06 was a late comer for the C5.
Secondly, it's not GM design who comes up with what the ZR1 and Z06 look like off that bat. First HPVO get hold of the corvette and they give the car tweaks, then GM design has to turn those tweaks that involved appearance issues, and incorporate it in the car. I doubt GM is this far in the progression with the next generation ZR1.

Re: C7 Corvette
Jalopnik is the worst about spreading misinformation and using tactics like this to increase traffic to there site. I don't trust there reporting at all, and I don't buy those renderings at all.

Re: C7 Corvette
im sure they havent seen anything really... Take a talented artist/render-er that knows cars and this could easily be what they come up with. That said, Im sure they are somewhat close on some areas that will make their drawings seem legit when real pics do come out. It will be mostly luck though probably.
