added 45 more pics today, including another 20 or so of the C6 w/o the targa top on.
You guys that haven't seen one yet, you cannot appreciate the presence the car gives off standing next to it. It is definitely shorter and it just makes the car more impressive to stand next to.

It is the Dick Harrel Special Edition. They will be converting 30 '02 Camaros to be sold by Berger Chevy.
Dick Berger was a legendary Camaro drag racer in the late 60s, the 1st gen with 2 carbs sticking out of the hood is THE original #1 ZL1 car that Dick raced. He was killed in 71 in a racing accident and the new cars are a tribute to him.
The body package on the car is the same as the blue Sunoco #6 Woodward dream cruise car.
Its a 660hp C5R 427, C5 brakes, 6pt roll bar, etc. etc. etc.
BTW, Settlemire has been driving around in the C6 and GTO...haven't had a chance to talk with him yet but plan too before the weekend is over.
technical question here...
how does the c6 speedo work?
i'm looking at the large pic of the speedo and it goes from 0-100 in units of 10 and 100-200 in units of 20
now, looking at it from a mechanical standpoint, how does it read the same if the units are different?
i know what i want to say, it's just really hard to get it across.
but..i mean, the units change so something in the computer or the gears must act differently as it approaches those speeds from 100+mph
to give an example, how would it work since in 1 unit it would read 100-120 instead of 100-110 which is how the first part of it works (0-100)?

That is some awesome pics. The Berger ZL1 Supercar looks awesome, though I think they should have chose a different color for the unveiling car. Electron Blue would have been cool.
I still can't get over $80K for a Camaro......though its not your average Camaro by a long shot, performance wise, but you could get a Z06 or a C6 for way less than that. But on the other hand they don't have 650+hp either.
Oh well they are all dream cars for me anyway so it doesn't really matter
But maybe one day
