I hope the Turbo DOHC V6 makes it to production, but I doubt Buick will get a 400HP car.
350HP turbo 2.8L maybe???

I figure that a turbo 3.6 will show up. Maybe not a 400hp, TT set up, but a turbo 3.6 and with what I hope a smaller OHC V8.
I am more interested in the 6spd auto. What is the future of that? Sounds like its quite the trans and it can hold a great deal of power.
I hope that the TT set up makes prodution, but chances are slim. It would make quite the flag ship.
I hope that the Park Ave replacement looks different.

where did you get 2.8L from? I'd imagine they would use the 3.6L DOHC as the base-line for all future Buicks.

High Feature is the OHC modles
High Value is the 3.5 and 3.9 V6's.
The 2.8 is part of the HF family. It will be the base engine for the CTS later this year or next year. It replaces the hunk of opel trash 3.2.

I don't get why the CTS is getting the 2.8L. I thought the reason for the 3.6L was to replace the 3.2L that wasn't powerful enough.
well, the CTS only had one engine, the 3.2 carried over from the Caterable. Then the 3.6 came in. I think they just want to get rid of the 3.2. the 2.8 is to appeal to more european buyers I assume. 325's and what not.
They really need to modernize their interiors and do a better job of seperating them from the rest of GM's lineup if they expect to start competing with Lexus.
I read great things about Buick's reliability record from JD Power, and I have a GM card with a big rebate setup, so I figured maybe my fiance might want to look at Buicks in addition to the lexus and acura cars she was looking at. Wrong. Those interiors were very very cheap in most regards, and beyond that, most of them seemed to be have a styling team of people older than my grand father.

I hope it gets a Cadillac like turn-around.

1st Caddie, then Buick, then Pontiac, then Chevy, then Saturn,
You could also say SAAB has already started since they have the 9-3, 9-2x, and the 9-7, and the 9-5 replacement will probably be out pretty soon. The 9-6 would definately give them a boost also. So the only thing we are missing is the 9-4 any idea what that could be maybe a Theta, Vue, based SUV?
