Boyd Coddington Has Passed Away
#2
He did great things and was very talented, but he did not have the best reputation for his "people skills" once he became an icon.
Regardless - my personal condolences to anyone close.
And that was NOT the way anyone deserved to pass.
Now... what happens to the price of his pieces...

I do agree, in his lacking of people skills. However, he is an icon of the industry. Don't forget that at one time, Foose and Jesse James once worked for him. He must have done something right. His designs I do feel will skyrocket in value. Just look at Chezoom, it sold at Barrett-Jackson for $372,000 in 2005.

I personally did not like Boyd's style of customizing cars, but I would not wish death upon anyone, it really stinks losing someone like him because the custom car industry needs leaders to continue on. He promoted the industry quite well with his t.v. show, even though his personality lead to some problems.
